Gabriela is a ceramic artist residing in South Philadelphia. Her passion for pottery began with strong influences from her hometown in Bucks County. Living down the street from the Moravian Tiles Works, Museum and Fonthill Castle instilled an awe-inspiring attraction to working with clay.

It wasn’t until 2019 that Gabriela’s interest in the ceramic arts blossomed into an every day hobby. Since then she has experimented with all forms of clay making through hand building and wheel throwing.

Raison D’être came to be as a form of emotional labor. A way to deal with the struggles of everyday life, grief, loss, addiction, that which molds the lives of all beings here on earth. Making art, receiving art, being surrounded by art, gives us all a reason to live in this world.
